Aswathi K Suresh

Aswathi K Suresh, a talented dancer from Kerala, began her journey at age 4 and dedicated herself to Bharatanatyam by 12. She holds a Bachelor's in Mohiniyatam from Kerala Kalamandalam and a Master's in Bharatanatyam from the University of Madras. After teaching at Kerala Kalamandalam, she founded Prayathna Arts Academy in 2019 to expand access to classical dance.

Aswathi has received numerous accolades, including the Balakrishna Kurup award and K N Pisharody medal. Her contributions are honored with endowments at Kerala Kalamandalam, such as the Kalamandalam Kshemavathi and Sathyabhama endowments. She continues to perform on prestigious stages like Bharat Kalachar, Narada Gana Sabha, and Music Academy Madras, while fostering the next generation of artists through her academy.

Aswathi K Suresh continues to refine her craft under the expert guidance of renowned Bharatanatyam duo, Sri Shijith Nambiar and Smt. Parvathy Menon. Their mentorship has further elevated her artistry, allowing her to captivate audiences with the timeless beauty of Bharatanatyam.
